Just Transition is an inclusive framework ensuring no one is left behind, aligning perfectly with women’s central role in SDG’s LNOB (Leaving No One Behind) agenda. As the backbone of Bangladesh’s RMG sector, women workers face growing vulnerabilities from climate change and automation.
To address these challenges, Bangladesh Labour Foundation (BLF) proudly organized a workshop on Climate Action and Just Transition with inspiring women leaders from various trade union federations on November 30, 2024 at After Hours Residence, Banani, Dhaka. The discussions focused on identifying gender-sensitive solutions that prioritize the rights and welfare of women workers.
Through this initiative, we aim to empower women leaders with the knowledge and advocacy skills needed to amplify the voices of women workers and champion policies for a sustainable, equitable future. Together, we are paving the way for a world where women workers lead inclusive and resilient progress.
